As our year-end event, the 2024 Xili Club Championship took place on 24th November. Even though it was chilly and rainy, 110 members came with great enthusiasm for this battle of honour.

The commemorative trophy stood resplendently on the green, radiating a brilliant glow in the morning. It took more than two years of creation before this piece of art was ultimately accomplished. In harmony with the design style that integrates the clubhouse building and the natural landscape, the trophy was crafted in the vein of sculptural art. The names of the champions of previous events are engraved on the base, which is shaped like half a golf ball, carrying captivating stories and delivering a competitive ambiance. Additionally, the silver-white trophy also kindles people's imagination of the future. It embodies the unique charm of Shenzhen as a young, tech-driven city, while preserves the minimalist elegance of golf.

The competition within the men's group was exceptionally fierce, as nearly 30 single-handicapped golfers made a push for the glory of the gross champion. The rainy weather posed an even more exacting test of their consistency and perseverance. While the members were focused on the game, they also had a great time with their friends enjoying the fun of golf.

The warm autumnal hues beautifully filled the restaurant. The joyful songs, along with the rhythmic beats of the drums, brought in an exhilarating prelude to the banquet. Finishing 72 strokes(Blue Tee), Mr. Yang Weidong clinched the men's title with a commanding 5-stroke advantage. With a score of 83 strokes(White Tee), Ms. Fu Lin was crowned the Best Gross of the Ladies' Division.
